Hi all, Just joined forum. I am currently building a 68 coupe with RRS front end, 2004 BA GT 290kw Boss motor. I am doing all the work myself. Have posted a thread on Ford forums, but now I have stumbled across this forum. Will post some pictures soon.

Thanks everybody, I am from around the Lithgow area. Went to put some pictures up but the file size was to large. The link to the FFR forum works but I think the section it is in requires you to be a member. I will take some lower resolution photos and post some pictures soon. Can you host photos from photo bucket to here like you have to on other forums.

Yesterday and today I was working on fitting the shift lever. Had to make a thread adaptor as shift knob was a larger thread. Then weld up a floor plate to mount shift boot and give gear box a little clearance with the floor. Turned out OK. will look better when carpet installed.

Put some of the rear end on the car today, after sticking on a new boot rubber it is very hard to close. I have had to space the catch with a few washers and will remove them one at a time. Hopefully the rubber squashes up a bit and I can get it to close that little bit more.

Not much done yesterday, did manage to put one headlight together. New insert with park light as well.

Put the other head light together and worked on getting original park/indicator to be a dedicated orange indicator.

Fuel tank is my next job, I have to put a after market fuel sender in to match the gauge I will be using. Went to the local bolt shop and bought a 42mm washer. Drilled and tapped it to suit the sender, cut a hole in tank the size of washer and welded in place. Put a PPG POR fuel tank treatment to coat inside of tank as it was pretty ugly in there. Repaired a couple of dents in the under side of tank. Coated with epoxy and got a bit impatient and put on some satin black 2k wet on wet on under side of tank. Looks wrinkle finish, little disappointed but will look fine. Will spray top section that is seen in boot tomorrow.

Fuel tank completed and installed. Still need to put a return to tank through old pick up.

Been trying to get my head around rewiring the car.

Starting to get somewhere. Tail lights, blinkers, reverse lights and brake lights all working. Wiper motor, interior lights working. Motor starting off its own key. EFI pumps working. Still heaps to do.

Had a go at putting the new covers on the back seat. Back padding was not to bad but should of got new foam. I have new foam for fronts though.
