I have fitted a 1968GT decal and loaded it up to go for a wheel alignment. Here are a few more pic's.

Love the rims, they really suit the car. So in NSW, you can't get a temporary license to drive the car on the road? I remember when I was nearly finished with the resto on my Corvette I just when to the licensing department and bought a day pass. Maybe the rules have change now.

In SA we need to buy a permit even if we trailer the car to the inspection station. Just so it can drive into the shed from the carpark.

It needed a wheel alignment pretty bad, did't want to scrub the front tires as it was a fair distance to drive. We can drive the car unregistered for the purpose of registration. Has to be the closest and most direct route. Hopefully getting rego this week.

Got sick of using a stick to hold the Hood up, as I had to remove springs off the original hinges to give room for brake booster and air intake. Bought a set of gas struts and tried to fit them, after much thought ended up with this. Works a treat.

Wow. looking good!!!
Beware the pvc air filter pipes under the front guard if you are still are using it, it goes hard with heat or Uv or age, becomes brittle and brakes easy, crap in the pipe into engine - not good.
Any evidence of bump steer yet ??????

Thanks. No evidence of bump steer. Car drives awesome. It is a bit harsh if you hit a pothole. Suspension is set up pretty stiff at the moment. Don't worry about the PVC as I am going to fiberglass wrap them.

Breezed through the registration process and went for my first cruise. Did about 150km with no issues. Just needing to get the aircon working. Drives and goes great.

Yeah my RRS setup really rattles your teeth on a pothole as well.  I think it is just the nature of it.

The car weighed 1500kg complete fueled up ready to drive. I am very happy with performance. Very civilised when driven sedately and goes hard if needed. I call it Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
