I have put in all the seat belt anchor points, during the process I had to cut a 50mm hole on the inside of the sill to push the lower mounting point in, then rivet it in place. I was very happy to see that the inside parts were all galvanized or zinc plated. Have not found any rust in the car except for the fuel tank. The drivers seat has its new cover on and temporarily fitted to car as well as a temp fitting of the drivers seat belt. All feels good with the 200mm drop link belts. Fitted the car stereo and got a lot of the wiring sorted. Gave the car a kick in the guts and played some tunes through the radio.

BTW I just installed a Vintage air unit and managed to fit a rectangular control panel in the stock location. I will take a picture tonight if you are interested.

Thanks a picture would be nice. is it the same control unit as mine. How did you go with all the ducting mine has been a super squeeze. but I have it sorted. 2 demisters the center vent and 2 side vents. I have two standard mustang side vents to use. the vintage air unit looks to be a good system. I do not mind where my control unit is at the moment. was going to put it in the glove box.

I have 49110-SVQ

It is a tight fit with all the tubing. I need to do something with the air flow to the footwell as like you I have turned the unit around. Some sort of deflector.

That looks a great control unit. At the time I bought mine I did not know they made that one. I ended up buying two right hand vent units, so I don't have the opening to suit that. Is your car right hand drive with the wipers swapped as well. and are you running the center vent. Thanks for the reply.

Mine was in the glovebox and it was a total pain in the arse. Cannot reach it while driving.

decided against glove box for that reason and I really do not mind were it is at the moment.

Mine is RHD with all the RRS stuff as well. The PO didn't notch the shock tower though or else there would be something quad cammy in there by now. I cut up a electronic project box to act as a surround for the control panel and to match the curve of the dash.

BTW WRT the centre vent I do have it installed but I have a single din GPS that pops out and folds up in front of it

Have refurbished the two front quarter vent windows. New frames rubbers and handles. Can't wait to get them in. not looking forward to installing all the door internals, they have been apart for a long time and my memory is not the best.

Last two weekends have been trying to piece together a box of mandrel bends into a exhaust system. Aim to get dual 3 inch all the way through.

Mission accomplished.

I like the bonnet graphics. Are you going to continue the centre stripes over the roof and bootlid or leave it just to the bonnet? Either way it looks great.

That's probably not going to happen, like the sound without it. Your just making it sound more like a single exhaust.
