Havn't heard that but just checked one of the arrival videos and they all seemed to have black wheels

Yep - dealer said that it's black wheels only, think there is a plan in place to bring some in  - but they will be extra $$$.

Will be looking around for some better looking wheels for sure..

Cheers

I'm sure that means it has been taken off the ship. Mine will bypass Bris, Port Kembla, taken off in Melb then reloaded on another ship back to Port Kembla before being delivered to the dealer in Syd.....why...maybe as Ford is located near Melb, compliance etc will be carried out there?

Has anyone here been told that the nickel wheels are not available yet? Apparently my car is coming with black wheels and I will have to take it back to have the nickel wheels fitted when they are available
Personally I prefer the Black, and the rear in Black are WIDER than the Nickel :burnout:
Also the Nickel wheels are an "option" hence fitted by the dealer not the manufacturer...this might explain queries above!

I've not been told that the nickel wheels are smaller on the back than the black wheels. I was told they were the same only nickel . If that is the case I would have used the 500 dollars to have the black wheels painted silver instead. I got a call from Ford yesterday to let me know my car has been released and will be shipped Monday so I may still get an early Christmas present fingers crossed.

Well funny thing the ship is not due into Melbourne untill the 23/12 it arrives in Brisbane today @ 4pm. So has me confused a little bit.

Forgive me, I did notice that also....In the early stages of tracking my VIN, the ship "Tysla" was going in the wrong direction...all sorted now "I HOPE"?

I may be wrong but just going by the US specs, Nickel lustre finish are only 19 x 8.5 and only available on the 50th anniversary edition which is not available in RHD...so, that being the case, just maybe it's a special option and hence the delay for our market....I hope for you guys who ordered the nickel, they are the same width as the black, 9" front, 9.5" rear

I had a quick chat with someone Ford HQ and apparently 1x car factory RHD has been delivered to a Melbourne Radio personality. They expressed their interest on air and after speaking with a dealer live they received the car within a couple of months.

Have now converted the other half into doing some of the Concours washin, cleaning & polishing stuff!!!!!!!!

As I suspected.  As u may know I order Dec 13 with $5k deposit and received email from ford June 15 confirming order by xmas. Now build only Dec 15 and maybe arrival by March 16

It looks like lots of queue jumping

Clearly I'm not over it. But still trying to be patient   Ahahhhh the long march.  Respect dingo

Dingo - clearly you don't have the advertising punch of a Melb radio jock.

To rub salt, it was prolly a freebie as well  :lmao:

10 days since my mustang arrived at port and the dealer still doesn't have it 1km away from the port where it arrived.  The dealer say they still can't tell where it is or when it will be mine?
Getting frustrated
Ford Australia where are the updates?

Has anyone received delivery of their Mustang yet?  Surely someone from the shipment that arrived on 2 Dec. has by now.  Mine arrived in Melbourne yesterday, 20 Dec.  Dealer's eta is 2 January, so I expect I can pick it up around Jan 6.

Afternoon radio jock's car is actually the 2nd Mustang delivered in Melb. First one was a red V8 with blonde at the wheel seen cruising at St Kilda beach a fortnight back.
