....my vehicle build date was 14/10/2015.......On my 1966 Coupe, Door Plate Date code is "15K", THAT IS 15/10/1965....
My new Mustang is one day off 50 years...how bizzare.

A good talking point Gary. Maybe time now to look more closely at your mods. The 50th anniversary style grille might be a good one in your case.

I actually prefer the look of the standard grille, but point taken.

Unfortunately this feature has been deleted from the Australia model...check this list of differences.

Oh well - will just have to clip the current opener on the visor.

Disappointed that we only get Sync 2 - she has it in her current Ford and it's pretty second rate, setup in my VF shits on it

Mate, Sync 2 will be fine for me...I got that many gadgets in my 66 coupe, blue toof, dash cam, chic magnet, etc etc.... & in my 1980 CHRYSLER Lancer, the AM radio doesn't work.....

...It will be 20 years to the day almost since I bought my last new car, still the best, 1995 Celica, no gadgets except the chick magnet....

A lot seem to be frequency related, radio etc, and a lot no doubt to satisfy ADR's.

Sorry to spoil the party, but Australia will not be receiving any 2015 models. The first shipment I believe is arriving in Melb next Wednesday then on to Port Kembla arriving there 7th Dec...all 40 vehicles on that shipment are 2016 models, designated by the letter "G" in the VIN # (2015 is "F")....some of those 40 recipients will probably have the best Xmas ever (alas not mine). Mine will be loaded on ship in Baltimore this Saturday, Sydney time, arriving in Melb 31st Dec. My dealers forecast given to me last March of Jan 20 estimated delivery is looking very accurate

The last letter before the 7 digit number is the year...ie; the 10th digit not the 8th

Yeh I've been watching my ship the car was loaded on a week ago but the ship seems to be making a stop every few days it's in Cuba atm so who knows when it will make its way here.
