Gave her a bath, then took my daughter for an ice cream which put 2 hrs worth of miles on the dial. Most expensive 30c ice cream ever. So worth it though.

It's the journey, not the destination that is important!

I installed a stainless steel overflow radiator tank. No more leaking coolant! Yay!

You may not have the same problem as I did with the RPM intake here in QLD ,but I had to fit a half inch heat spacer between the intake and carby .  Also if your engine is fairly stock , revs under 5,500 rpm  I would fit a spacer with the 4 holes ,it will give the engine a lot more torque .

1/2" 4 hole solid phenolic spacer, avoids vacuum issues I hope, i'm excited on the results it may produce!

They work well .  I put one on my 347 and it pulled like a train but the engine ran out of puff at around 5,000 rpms . Had to go to a 1inch open spacer to get the HP in the high 5,000 range .

Looking good Gazza. I've got an inch spacer on mine without any problems.

Today, I changed the front tyres from 235/60/15 to 215/60/15. Feels better on the road and doesn't hit the guard on full lock.
Cheers, Ron B
