For anyone cruising around the States, I used to do this in Denver when I got a Saturday morning off. Was a very casual get together and well worth checking out the assortment of cars from high end Euros to American Muscle.

Some nice looking cars there. Sun out brings the cars out about 20 turned up so not bad for just a greet and meet looking forward to next months

There are at least 15 members within five minutes of Kellyville... myself included (and, two within short walking distance). Pity we did not know about this before as we could promote it a bit but, there is always next month. First Sunday follows on nicely from the Camaro Firebird mystery cruise on the first Saturday of each month.
Thanks for the heads up, will get there in February.

Hey Guys,
Finally have had a chance to register online.
The coffee meet can only grow in numbers as the word gets around and more people are back onboard from holidays.
Had a great catch with mainly locals with interests in classic and custom cars of various makes and models and of course Mustangs, looking forward to next month.

I live within a short walk to the Kellyville shops on Wrights Road as well!!
My 1968 Fastback GT 'S' code arrived from the USA just before Christmas but it will be off the road for a while until I get it ready for rego... so it would just be coffee without my car!!
I will definitely check out the next meeting.

Hi Raven, 50 Km/h speed zone on Wrights Road and Castle Hill Police Highway Patrol cars are known to frequent the area... so maybe not!!

Sounds like its a great event, I was unable to make the January one, but will bring my 66 along for the Feb meeting, hope fully catch up with some of you guys who are local, Im also only 5 mins away from Kellyville.

Sounds like its a great event, I was unable to make the January one, but will bring my 66 along for the Feb meeting, hope fully catch up with some of you guys who are local, Im also only 5 mins away from Kellyville.
After the Kellyville breakfast on 3 March, there is also a Brekky run to Berowra that has been organised. Members from Penrith meet up at Panthers, then stop for others to catch them at McGraths Hill then mosey over the back roads to the parking area just before the Berowra ferry. Northern members including Central Coast guys and Southern members make their own way up there.
I am planning on a coffee at Kellyville to start me off at 8AM (ish) then a quiet cruise up to Galston and Berowra for brekky at ao (ish) when the others are expected to arrive. We will certainly be making the Hills come alive, with the sound of music :grin:. Any others are most welcome to come along. We usually end up with 20 or 30 cars at Berowra so it is a good opportunity to meet and greet.

I will have to polish the landcruiser for sunday. Been side tracked on other stuff, but will focus on it over the next few weeks. Lots of small bits and pieces to do, as I want to have it all completely finished when I am ready for rego. Will have to keep hammering away at it :smash:

'65 GT350 silver fastback - Forum Member RayAzza. I tried to hide the wet spot caused by a small leak in the radiator (so Ray says) but I am sure it was dry until I drove past in the Corvette :grin:

White 66 convertible - not known to me
Sometimes I look at a restored vehicle and think it is a good job but still scratch my head and wonder why? The second and third shots are something that might be known to others ... The badges tell me it is a Toyota Tiara utility. It is on club plates so (supposedly) pretty much standard factory production line but I have never heard of it (let alone seen one) before. An interestiing piece of historical memorabilia perhaps?
and a '56 Chev owned for 26 years and sounding as quiet today as it did when it rolled off the production line in '56

Matt, I have 300 shots from All American Day ... just gotta get them loaded onto the forum and also the MOCA Facebook page ... I just need to get a round tuit ... but working on it.
The Galaxy lives less than a kilometre away from the Shops but does not come out too often. It is very well presented and shares a garage with an equally nice '65 fastback.
'68 Coupe, the March breakfast is on the same day as a MOCA run to Berowra. There will be a couple of members at Kellyville for 8, departing about 8:30 for Berowra. Anyone is welcome to join in the cruise but if your car is not on the road, just ask for a lift in one of the Mustangs or, tag along in your daily driver.

Well, I did not see any Pony poo but I did see some rocking horse sh1t and that seems as rare as this 'ere Toyotu UTE! It was an interesting inclusion but I am not sure a lot of people actually realised it could have been worth as much (or maybe more) than the American muscle and other Aussie icons that were in attendance.

I remember when those utes were current models. They were well thought of by the motoring industry even then, though getting the Aussie public to buy Jap shlt in a work vehicle was near impossible in those days. No wonder they're rare.

I was the` first `car to show up at about 7.30 or so (very light rain),felt like the lone ranger.
3 or 4 other cars showed up in the morning along with a few later on, but mainly regular guys and quite a few unfamiliar faces in their daily drives!!

Sunday 5th May
Start with a coffee at Kellyville from 7:00AM
This is just a regular get together by car enthusiasts who bring their choice of vehicle on the day, have a coffee and chat, check out the choice of other folk and make a few friends along the way. It usually finishes by about 9:00AM. Meet at the shopping centre car park located at the Eastern end of Wrights Road (number 40, near the intersection with Green Road). Leave by about 8:15AM.
Move on to Maccas at Thornleigh in time for a 9:00AM departure or, if coming from Newcastle, Maccas at Thornton for 9:00AM departure.
Many members of MOCA and other clubs will be meeting at these locations on their way north. Grab another coffee if in need or stand and chat with others whilst bathing in the glorious autumn sunshine that has been ordered for the day.
Destination is The Entrance by about 10:00AM
This is a big day in the lives of the Glenvale Special School for Handicapped Children. MOCA presents the All American Muscle Car Show at the Memorial Park located on the lake entrance in front of The Entrance shopping centre. This is always a terrific day enjoyed by all who attend and makes such a big difference in the lives of a very special group of children.
By special request, chief organiser and MOCA member Norm Moore has asked all that are attending to take a moment out of your day to think positively for sunshine and clear skies as wet weather is not invited on this day!
Should make for a great daythis Sunday, for those thinking about attending Kellyville for the first time.

The 16th All American muscle Car show at The Entrance Memorial Park is on this Sunday Sponsored by Shannons Insurance. The show raises funds for the Glenvale Special School at North Entrance. Cars to leave Maccas at Thornleigh at 8am for an arrival time around 9am

Here are some of the Mustangs from the coffee meet this morning, had two cool old school super charged hot rods, a couple of V8 EK Holdens, a nice HQ SS Monaro, a Galaxie, a corvette, and a handfull of others and even a Ferrari 308 GTS.
So a good turn out today, given all the car shows on today.

At 6:50AM, I have five minutes drive to get to the Kellyville Plaza. It is still wet here, a constant drizzle. I look out the window over the valley and find it hard to see the other side with cloud, fog and rain obscuring the view that usually gives me a clear line of sight all the way to the radio towers at Liverpool Crossroads(20 K).
The weather is not good for cruisin as the sun ain't gonna shine any more (for today at least) :rain:.
I did stick my finger outside and it came back wet so driving topless, even at speed, will end up the same. I'll stay in bed and hope something else might come of it all. :fingerx:.

Headed over to Kellyville at about 8am this morning in the work hack, it hadn`t stopped raining all night. Met up with the regular guys for indoor coffee today and we all hoped for far better weather next month. I think I spotted only about 3 or 4 decent cars through the shop window that made the journey!

Now fella's, as I was leaving, I overheard a few guys suggesting the Landcruiser in the photo, was operating in stealth mode, a "sleeper" I think they were calling it, now I thought they meant it looked like it was asleep, but he'll no!, suggestion it had a big block with an under bonnet supercharger.
Pitty the owner wasn't close by, I think he was to embarrassed to move it, or start it, until everyone left. :grin: :grin: :grin:
Next time Dino, you'll have to pop the bonnet.

An excellent morning - great to catch up with you guys. Thanks for the pics John - a nice couple of the '68 coupe in there. Good to see some new cars along with the regulars - fantastic to see Dino's machine on the road. It was great to get the car out and give it a decent run - look forward to the next one. :thumb:

Must make it clear to the forum members that the aforesaid HOON was not a MOCA member and was not driving a Mustang.
I am not even going to post a pic of the car and I hope no one else does. As far as I know no one present this morning knew the car or the driver. Hopefully they wont return to Kellyville, it will only take one incident and it will all be over for the rest of us that enjoy our monthly meet :thumb:

From memory the wheels on the EH were from "Mark Weld" the brother of the owner of Weld wheels, it was also sporting the period correct two tone grey and white interior, was a lovely car, but for the rear wheels, it looked stock to the average joe, until it was started.
My favourites of the day was the black HR ute, the Green Monaro, the White SLR5000, the Capri, the Blue Firebird, and this lovely XY,...Bugger it I liked them all :thumb:

Gee ther were an amazing number cars today, given everything else on I was suprised, but what a great turn out, was great to see the old BSA motorbikes, some really cool hotrods, what I suspect was quite rare was a column shift auto SS Camaro, even a Ferrari turned up.
Shame we didn't get a rear end shot of that LC torana, there must have been only the diff centre between the tyres, if they were not 16-18 inch wide, thing was wild, supercharged 6 cyl.

What an awesome meet this morning, agree there must have been
Around 100 cars or so, and most had family and friends with them, so upwards of 150 people.
Some great cars, everything from e-type jag, Ferrari, mini, a few very tidy VW's, many types of chev's, I think the mustangs whilst had a few there, we're well and truly out numbered this time.
Good to finally meet Stephen (StephenSLR) this morning, hopefully some of the guys taking pics will post them up.

Got up early with no rain,but within 15mins the heavens opened up. My mate was on his way so ended up taking his '64-1/2 muzzy. Drizzle along the way. At least no rain at the destination.

Yeh ,I recognised the EH straight up, he had his two little kids strapped in tight in child restraints, the looks on their faces as he pulled up was priceless (me thinks there might have been a nappy change in order)
Good behaviour upon leaving was the order of the day with maybe just a little bit of excessive V8 tone heading off into the distance :grin:

I couldn't make it this morning Stephen, what was the over all turn out like, I know a lot of the guys headed to the entrance for the meet up there today.
I was heading back up the Hume highway to Sydney lunchtime today, saw a rally nice aqua ford t bird, late 50's model, the couple in the car looked like they were in there late 70's, was pretty cool to see.

Weather for this sunday's Kellyville coffee meet is looking like a cracker day, should see a big turn out of cars, the last few meets have seen 100+ cars.
Usual time 7am - 9am.

Unfortunately didn`t make it to the coffee meet this morning, I cancelled my ride with Dino at 6.30am due to a few too many mixed beverages last night for my 50th birthday bash.
I had a great night and would again like to thank all that attended and also thanks for the birthday messages from those that couldn`t make it :thumb:
Apparently was a huge turnout with up to at least 5 full rows of cars showing up :omg:

if its as good as it was when we went earlier this year it is most certainly worth the trip, its like a car show at the meeting point so give your self some perving time as sometimes cars only go to that and not cruise to the Mystery destination, having said that lots of cars on the cruise we went on and it looked awesome being surrounded by all these very nice Muscle cars, Rods and street machines,
enjoy the atmosphere mate :thumb:

I definitely thought so.
As mentioned you can just get there early for the display at the car park, half will drive home after that.
Afterwards you get to go for a cruise with a bunch of US muscle, I think it's better when daylight savings kicks in.

Haven't been on one yet but definitely plan on going, agree with Stephen and will wait for daylight saving to start. They do one down to the Northern Beaches that I definitely don't want to miss next time, feedback from the guys was that it was a great night. :thumb:

yes Keith, that was one clean XW but he is already saying he will be selling it as it was an impulse buy and he really hasn't got the room for it in the garage, so when I asked what his daily driver was, he answered a Maserati !! he was a nice guy but really didn't know much about the car or even working on them LOL!
The white stripes on the 68 had air brushed ghostly skulls in them it was a very cool ride :thumb:

If anyone is thinking of heading over to Kellyville Cars n Coffee on Sunday ,there are quite a few of including our better halves meeting up at about 7.00am for a quick coffee and a chat before cruising over to Cavallino`s at Terry Hills to check out the line up of cars on display, oh and grab another coffee .
From there it is a quick drive up to the Northern Beaches or maybe The Newport Arms for lunch.
Weather is supposed to be fine and around 29deg,perfect opportunity to get those pony`s out for a run and to meet other Mustang enthusiasts' :thumb:

Hi Rick Cavallinos was great. Heaps of cars with limited a out of spots to park in close by anyway. Lucky I got in early but the other group took a good half hour cruising the streets to find a spot but well worth it I think. StephenSLR has got some pics up on that thread. My pics will come eventually. I'm buggered now.

Perfect weather and a big turnout for a great morning of cars and coffee. Cars were arriving all morning and easily over 120 cars and a few classic trucks provided plenty to look at and talk about. Really enjoyed the morning and catch up with the guys.
One car turned up this morning and lowered the usual high standards of presentation a bit - Big Al's sleeper '66 Falcon coupe with a nice patina and no paint. It was the star attraction of the morning. :lol:

Great shots there as usual Aspro, Big Al`s `new` ride is the one car that you would take to the local shopping centre and not have to worry about possible damage from careless driver`s. It was suggested that nothing but a bit of sand paper was all that was needed to get it to shine :grin:
Overall a fantastic morning with a lot of variety in different makes and models to suit everyone's taste.
It was nice to finally meet young Rich (Rick106) in his beautiful 69 `418` Mach 1 this morning, a very nice car indeed :thumb:

Whilst many may find this disappointing, we must respect the views of the centre management and thank them for the support they have provided to the many and varied car enthusiasts who attended this meet.
As this is not a mustang owners club run event, until a new and more suitable venue is identified by the organisers, this event will be removed from the club events list.
As soon as I hear any information relating to a new venue, I will let everyone know, until that time, please as enthusiasts, support the centre management decision.

That is hugely disappointing news. This is my favourite meet. It wasn't that busy and most are gone by 9am anyway. Hmmmm ... Hopefully this gets straightened out.

:tissue: Most disappointing as I really enjoyed this meet. For me it was the perfect distance to be able to give the '68 coupe a really good 45-50 minute early morning run out to Kellyville.
Looks like first Sunday of the month will be over my way for Cavallino Cars and Coffee next time?

It appears that the organiser of the event (at least the guy who started it, not much to organise) was not aware of the above email sent by Center Management. He has been in contact with them and has spoken to a number of shop owners and requesting Center Management to retract the email.... he seems adamant that they are not going to move the event and at this stage is not looking for an alternative venue.. I however will be surprised if center management change their mind.

Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow morning; my guess is plenty of cars will still turn up for an early morning coffee. What do they do, put security on the front entrance and turn cars away? There were very few centre patrons their at that time of the morning anyway. :shrug:

It was always a great car meet.
There was about 60 cars. Many of the regulars and quite a few cars I have never seen there before.
There seems to be a lot of different stories about centre management asking for it to be cancelled then retracting it, 1 store complaining, the Coles build etc etc. So not really sure what actually went on, but it looks like it will still be on every 1st Sunday.
Gloria Jeans were not complaining, they had a line up out the door of car guys wanting coffee's.

Finally had a free Sunday morning and took the '68 coupe out for the first time this year. Had a nice early morning run out to Kellyville and was pleased to see the meet is still going strong with about 70 or so cars turning up on a brilliant morning. It was great to catch up with some of the regular MOCA guys for a coffee and a chat.

There have been some changes in the car park due to the new shops opening. The part of the car park usually occupied is now being dug up for a new Maccas. The new entry is from the Aldi roundabout. Perhaps the roof of the new multi level car park will be the venue. I'm not sure.

Hey John, apart from a quick 10 minute run home when I picked the car up from the exhaust shop I haven't driven the car with the new exhaust, so I'm keen to hear the new exhaust note myself.

Had the camera ready in the car for the 'special surprise' - a race red 2016 Mustang - but it was a no show, a bit disappointing.

It was great to get the 'rarely' seen '68 coupe out for a run to Kellyville and really good to catch up with everyone for a chat and a coffee or two on a lovely sunny Sunday morning. Made it half way home before the rain hit, and yes, had to use the windscreen wipers for the first time. :lol: Hopefully make it out there again next month.
