Grant Steering Wheel -part 2
« on: July 04, 2009, 10:28:10 pm »
Well...after all the advise i was able to get the wheel mounted beautifully...even got the horn working perfectly without the cap popping off BUT i have some concerns and need some learned advice from the guru's;
1. why does the wheel move from side to side like it has no support? (i'm sure i've tightened it sufficiently)
2.  the gap is about 6 - 7mm is this still OK
3. I couldn't fit the indicator retun as it was so tight and i didn't want to damage the custom hub - does it really matter if this isn't used?

Does this all sound normal for a Grant wheel on a 66 Mustang? ;w

BTW it drove as good as before i changed the steering wheel.;

Pic of one I fitted in CA. I have fitted many, had no problem with the fit & also had no sideways movement.
