Think you'll need your import licence too, but check for the complete up to date list with your RTA.

As a rule an (expensive) engineer's certificate is only needed if the car is converted to RHD/disc brakes etc before it's first registered, but NSW could be different to Vic, as there's no national code.

So as I said earlier, go straight to the horse's mouth for info on your pony, cos uncertainty causes stress which causes ulcers, which isn't fun, like a Mustang's supposed to be.

hey mate,

as per the others replies you will need as followed:

- blue slip
- green slip
- weight bridge ticket
- bill of sale
- import approval

you will only need an engineer's certificate if their has been a large modification to your car. This will be pointed out by whoever does your blue slip though so unless they say you require one you will not need one.

I registered my 65 at the end of last year and thats the exact thing I was told for NSW registration.

Let us know if you need anymore help.

I went to my local NSW RTA office and they gave me a printed form with all the requirements. It even had check boxes to tick off as you acquired each document! My car came up from Vic, RHD converted, so I had to go through the whole shooting match because NSW don't accept Vic Engineers reports.
