hi chaps want to purchase an autolite 24r reproduction battery for the 66,anyone bought one recently and if so where did you get it ? TIA

did you get a warranty with it Bee?have heard about the dry gel type and they say there good for ten years plus!!! cant see it myself.My biggest issue is freight as i am in sa!

Hi 2+266,

I didn't even think anspit a warranty, I've had it nearly a year with no problems at all. It's the old fagion type with separate water filled cells and screw off caps. They come dry naturally and you need to have them filled.

Haven't heard of the dry gell re-pro.

I just noticed in the new edition of Performance Ford magazine that the article called Renovation Rescue Part 2 on page 64 they have a pic of a new maintenance free Autolite Sta-Ful. The GT Shop at Epping Victoria do the resto. Try calling them on 03 94080351.
