Anyone thinking of buying a Jeep should read the attached, pretty scary situation for the owners of this one. Possibly more to it but on face it’s interesting

Nasty outcome.
Seems that fuel pump failure may be a regular source of breakdown for the Grand Cherokee after googling the fault.
Don’t know how it sent metallic pieces past the fuel filters though.
Surely there is a wrecked Jeep they could do an engine change with.

I read the article and their mechanic has quoted the $39,614.00 in parts and $6,800.00 in labour to rectify the issue.
I think it must be the same Golden Spanners Mechanic I let work on my Mustang once.....  :tissue:
