WHITE DOTS ON THE GPS MAP
« on: June 02, 2016, 08:03:10 am »
I know I am likely to seem like a dill moment after posting this....but here goes....

Anyone know what the white dots on the GPS screen are signifying? I have heaps of them on my screen, and cant figure out what they are trying to tell me.

Haven't used the GPS yet. Only driven 900 k in 6 weeks. Hopefully someone else knows, but I'll give it a try next week. Battening down for a wild weekend of weather in Queensland.

Could it be where you have been? Have you been using it in another car or even just had the power on?

Internet is calling them breadcrumbs to show you where you have travelled previously.

That's a car park where I work - but the dots are all over the place - mostly along roads and seemingly at specific intervals. I have tried stopping at a few and trying to see if there was anything similar - many of the dots are less than a hundred meters apart - I even thought they could be telegraph poles at one point. But no....

Well, it is turning into a bit of fun, and I really now genuinely curious about what these things are!

You see the red arrow?

You're supposed to spin that around with your joystick and shoot the white dots.
