I hear ya! And no point leaving the money to my super fund because that will be all but gone if the govt has its way.

Don't be put off super by the changes the govt is making. It is still far and away the best investment vehicle (it's not an investment in its own right). Espcially for those nearing or older than 60. But you can't put a classic car in super and use it unfortunately.

I wonder if I was willing to pay an extra 5k and wait 12 months would Ford Australia entertain doing a special order manual GT convertible?
