1983 Fox Mustang convertible (Export)

Hi Mustang owners,
I recently purchased a 1983 Fox Mustang convertible 302 with a 4 speed srod gearbox right hand drive .
Need help with researching some history on this as the Buck tag is stamped with Model Ex (Export)
Was it imported by a Ford dealer  ? Where do i start ?

Is this the red Brisbane car?.

Surprised that the buck tag survived.

Your best site for info on an 83 is Four Eyed Pride Forum. There used to be a thread on deciphering Buck Tags.

Does it still have the Vehicle ID Label?. Normally stuck on the left hand side B pillar door opening, should have a DSO code on it. Some of these codes can tell where the car was sent.

Apart from the Marti report, you can also get a Carfax or a Vinaudit online using the vin #, cost between $9 to $45US.

There is also an address you can write to For Ford records in Detroit which should have info if the car was exported.
