If grabber blue was available when I put my order in I probably would have selected that. Instead I went for competition orange.

Grabber blue will have to do...

Would have preferred competition orange as it was close match to my old gt falcon colour of vermilion fire and l was going to hood stripe it in black with a shaker.

I am now toying with the idea of putting some white stripes with blue l think that will make it stand out

I think white stripes would stand out on it. I like the idea of a shaker.

I think by the time it arrives l will have saved some additional dollars for some light mods on the exhaust and intake plus a trip to the paint shop

Trying to spin a positive on a 12 to 18 month wait

My S550 is White, stock as a rock.... saw a white one on Saturday with stripes, looked cheap IMO....maybe stripes on a colour, but not on white.

I wouldn't be surprised as there does not seem to be any consistency in the order and build process

My wife was at a Ford dealer about two weeks ago. They had an eco boost mustang in stock available for walk up purchase. Apparently the person who ordered it decided against taking delivery. The only reason they had not sold it was that they had not decided on a price at that point in time.

If your friends ordered one and got it quick, possibly because someone else reneged on a purchase of exactly the same vehicle they wanted?

That's the only thing I can think of. I think it would be tricky to slip a car into a production run that is built to order and booked out 16 months in advance.....

Hi all I got my VIN last week from the dealer, the dealer said some thing happened on the 21/5/16 delivery 25/6/16.
Can I tell if it has been built yet??
Is there other ways to track it because FORD are not much help.

Thanks.

It typically takes 90 days from build date for car to be delivered to the owner...some have received it a bit sooner or later but that's usually the timeline. There are multiple stages to this process...here's the link to a post detailing the steps from another forum. I hope this helps-

I just got a call from the, now I don't really like the term 'Ming Mole', and I didn't bother to recall what she called herself, but the person whose job it is to sell you the extra warranty, the paint protection, tinted windows, etc, etc.

She did ask if Io wanted front parking sensors installed (at the bargain price of $899). Reckons everyone is getting them (she would say that). Not sure I see the better part of a thousand dollars value in them - but I would like to hear from anyone who has a 2015/6 mustang is they feel the front sensors are worth the money?

My car should be available next week......maybe......

Never get paint protection from the ming mole.

A detailing pro will do twice the job for half the price and actually use quality products.

I went for a drive as a passenger in the new Mustang and I have to say it was a bit difficult for me to judge where the front corners were. So if I owned one I wouldn't buy the $900 Ford one but would consider fitting one of these ... http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Steelmate-Front-Parking-Sensor-With-Buzzer-PTS400EX-F.aspx?pid=SPO3669091#Recommendations

Is there a way to get the Sequential Turn Signals working again? Is it legal? I have Sequential Turn Signals on Audi.
