thanks for the support...dealer has tried but I think its a stuff up between Sydney and ford at melb and then the USA.

I'm seriously thinking of chucking in my job in Darwin when it comes in. the thought of having to garage it in Sydney for six months while I'm at the top end is too much.

life's too short...I'd would appreciate any feedback from anyone whose pony was built around 12 dec 15 and if your vehicle is on a boat...respect dingo

Good question Dingo. Might go for odds and evens. The '69 on odd days and the '16 on even days. The sound system in the '16 with its DAB radio is certainly better than the one in the classic Mustang.

The best thing is the "cooled seats".....in Sydneys hot climate atm, I've used this function more than fuel....lol

Are you bringing the new toy to Gembrook on Sunday Dave? Looking forward to checking it out if you do.

Cheers

Put your VIN on the cargo ID (don't worry about capital letters or not, it works that out for you).

If you want to get an idea of the scale of this port, check out 2700 Broening Hwy Baltimore on Google Maps. The scale is fair dinkum breathtaking. The queue of cars to get through the gate onto a RO RO is hard to believe.

In theory at least, my Mustang should be in the middle of being loaded into the Tamesis today. It is scheduled to sail tomorrow US time. Dingo, your one might be on there as well?

And yes, the excitement level is just starting to stir.....

Mine set sail on the 10th February on the Faust. It passed through the Panama Canal a few days ago and is on its way to French Polynesia. It reaches Port Kembla on the 14th March, so I am thinking April fools day if I'm lucky....

Now that's a BIG RO - RO facility!

Ok, so I've completely misread something a week ago thinking my car was gonna be late march/april.
I'm in Canberra and my car is due in Brisbane on Saturday, wonder how long till I can get it? Need to sell my other car asap lol.
