Yep. I purchased mine in March 15 and advised stripes were factory black or silver only.

After stopping in Tahiti, Auckland and Melbourne mine is arriving in port kembla (NSW) tomorrow morning.  The wait is not over yet, according to my local ford dealer it will take another 8 days to travel 1km to the dealership.  I haven't asked how long it takes to get washed and registered before I take it home. :tissue: it's been 21 months since I ordered so I should be used to the wait but the last part is frustrating.

Our ship is due in Brisbane on the 16/12 then Port Kembla on the 18/12, been told about 11 days after that for delivery.

So about another month to wait   :pepper:

Cheers

I still don't get it.  I paid a $5k deposit in Dec 2013. Yes 2013. Saw the dealers list in Jan this year. I was second in the list, first for the hard top.  Got an email June 2015 saying mine was under way and would be getting it before cams and in the first batch  Got a call in October saying it would be build on 30 November and maybe delivered fen 2016.

Ford has no explanation why the mix up. I've got cancer and made a decision to buy the pony instead of another sports car   (Knowing that it would take some time before it arrived).

Now I'm not sure I can trust anyone in the ford chain about the timing. The prob is that I don't see another car that come close to bang for buck. Maybe by the time it gets here it will go straight to the kids.

I'm clearly really pissed off. A few mates are in the same position about failed promises

can anyone confirm whether the new ones do or don't have front/rear parking sensors?  They're not listed on Ford Australia's specs page, but you'd think if you've got a reversing camera, you'd get parking sensors - particularly in the front.  I think I'd trade the climate controlled seats for parking sensors on a car with such a monster turning circle (but we don't get to choose such things in Australia)
