Test fit the 347 for pipe clearance and engine height with the fabricated mounts. The motor ended up sitting 1/2 inch higher than the 65 stock position to clear the modded sump

Next is to strip the underside and engine bay and repaint, make up some subframe connectors, rewire the car and refit everything with new running gear and front end. Trying to get it done in a couple of months.

Rust patches in place, very time consuming job that was. Started fabricating a set of subframe connectors and stripping underneath.

Good job Ray. Were you expecting the rust in the floors or was that a nasty surprise? Seeing your car in the flesh it didn't look like you would have any rust issues.

Yep pretty much, after doing that little rust repair had the trim all out so decided to get the underside back to metal and glad to say its it top shape.

G'day guys happy new year
Laid down some hi fill then went on holidays, will paint this week when I get back after some sanding and then I am off to hospital to get a new knee put in my left leg finally so will be out of action for about 6-8 weeks maybe.
