Hey Keith, the shop is called Franklin Smash Repairs in Matraville, the owner is a lovely guy, but its mainly doing insurance work repairs, the main man working on my car though is Julius, he is an absolute freak and perfectionist and loves all Fords, he is actually working elsewhere at the moment and coming back in his spare time to work on mine

So quick update, the body has had its final wet sanding over the weekend, and likely to have a final look over it all tomorrow night before it gets the go ahead to finish off the paint. Getting pretty excited now, after hunting and hunting for engines, and almost going with an eagle 351, I still had a little niggling feeling after all the warnings and advice given on here re crate engines, I have now found BG Engines that seem to be a mile ahead of any mass produced stuff still at a pretty reasonable price. Waiting on them to email me out the packages they build and will prob end up going with their 347, hopefully have some nice pics to post real soon

Been down checking out progress today, still touching up a couple of areas on the body, so kept myself busy working on the dash, I bought a RHD dash a while back but couldn't get it to fit my original metal pod so managed to get my hands on another repro pod. Took the dash out there and it fit like a glove. Got it home, only to release it was the complete reverse of the molding from the one I had.  I already realized that the dash bezel I bought was actually a 68 dash but thought best I could get for the car regardless.   I set about reversing everything to make it fit with the new pod, so managed to get the wiper control to perfectly fit where the brake light section was and vica versa, anyway, in the end I was happy with how it turned out, just that all the gauges are in reverse to what I had, hopefully no biggy and still an improvement on what was in there

great work with the dash
Its funny how quick kids learn to drive a car, yet fail to understand a lawnmower.
