Took the Cobra for a run to the Wollombi Markets with a group of The Central Coast Brumbys and Newcastle Chapter members. Bought a few things and then had lunch and refreshing drink before heading home. Around a 150k cruise. Warm day but not real hot.

Took advantage of Bridgestone's buy 3 get the 4th free deal and had new Potenza Adrenalin RE003s put on, as the RE002s that came with the mags I put on a little while back were worn.

Have also dropped her off to have an underdash aircon system installed, can't wait.

In my experience, your not finished until you sell them. It is great though to get to a milestone of not to much to do (at the moment). Maybe I get restless.

I'm retiring in 6/12, and won't have the funds to do anything major, so had a good long look at the car and planned how I wanted to present it visually and how I wanted it to drive. I have, as near as dammit, achieved my goal, which is a restomod with retro overtones..ie a restomod that looks how an owner in the Muscle Car era might have presented his car. It's got new Viper red paint, new HO rollercam engine, new auto trans, diff overhauled, 4 wheel disc, centre pull handbrake, upgraded front seats, retractable seat belts, aircon, Superlite wheels, an electric power steer pump and upgraded suspension. The car is now as developed as I can afford to go, so this is how it must stay. I'm happy with it.  :burnout:  :thumb:

Currently having new upper and lower control arms and a new set of Bilstein shock absorbers installed. Installed new control arms about 5 years ago, but the ball joints are worn. Cheap parts made in Taiwan! Should drive and handle a lot better once I get it back. Will post more next week.

Noticed moisture round the bottom hose neck, removed rad, had it refurbished pressure checked etc, refitted it today.
Sorry already said that, heats getting to me. But I did fit the Monte Carlo bar, hopefully tomorrow get it up in the air drop the rear springs and replace shackle rubbers and bushes.

Western Suburbs Automatics finished up installing the Old Air underdash kit, blows nice and cool! They had some hassles getting things to fit in the bay, will write up a separate post.

Drain outlet from unit seems to be leaking a bit of water so will have to check that out.  Very pleased to have cold air though.

It`s normal to see water from a/c on the ground, as long as the drain pipe drains to the road you`re ok.

I dropped my rear springs on Wed, fitted all new bushes and refitted them, decided to renew the rear shocks while I had the car in the air, called All American Auto Parts in Ballarat, ordered a new pair, they were in my hands here in Brissy next morning....sweet..

So there's a drain tube out the left and right rear, the left runs around the back of the blower unit to join the right tube which then feeds through a hole in the floor.
Water is leaking out of the left side near the back of the blower.  Not a lot, just noticed about 5-6 drops by the throttle pedal after driving it for ~20 minutes.

If its just plastic pipe push fitted onto elbows and joins like mine was you can put a cable tie on each such push fit join and zip it up nice and tight. Solved a similar problem with mine.

That's a good idea, thanks.  Was also thinking of putting some plumbing tape on there also.

Cars have been in storage at mate's workshop due to fires here in WA. Now having an x-pipe installed and stainless steel exhaust tips on my 66. Also, new speedo cable as old one was frayed and leaking oil. Exhaust hanger on wife's 07 vert broke again so looks like a welding job is in order.
