Well not actually today - last Tuesday, but been busy:

- moved the stang into its new home

Better than the carport it has lived in for the nearly 3 years!!

Well back up the bragging rights Shane and do some donuts in that Airplane Hangar, I wanna see tyre marks haha!  :burnout:
when a 3 month engine rebuild turns into 3 year bare metal resto.
you get that .....

Thanks Macca.

The intention is at least a 2 post hoist. Don't really need the 4 posters until I get some more cars (could be a while yet).

It's almost big enough for it! An indoor arena for this lovely Melbourne weather.

Gat if the full exterior Terminator Treatment!!
« Reply #1608 on: July 13, 2015, 04:02:51 pm »
I've had the '03 side scoops for ages, and after the '03 boot lid & spoiler was fitted last week, I had the '03 hood repaired, the '03 front and rear bumpers painted and fitted, moved the spot-lights into the fake brake ducts to clean up the front - love the new look!

Will fit the Terminator interior a little later this year...

Thanks for the kind comments, the photos do not show how good the paint & bodywork really is. It has been a huge (& expensive) process but hopefully worth it in the end. I will keep the pics coming as the rebuild progresses.

Kicked all the other cars out of the garage and gave her a good wash, Polish and detail as she had been at the mechanics for a week (damned pesky oil leaks).

Then decided to enter her in to concours at the State meet next month for the first time.

That should be interesting!!

Thanks! I'm very pleased with them.

They are 17x8 with 4 3/4" backspace, Bridgestone Potenzas with 215/50/17 front and 225/50/17 on the rear.  Might need to roll the rear guards a bit.

went 3.73:1 in the rear (was 3.27) and had the traction-loc LSD clutches replaced. Used a Ford Racing gear-set and there is a different sound now from the diff, but it seems to launch a bid harder and traction seems to be the limiting factor.

6th is now 1,950rpm at 100kph whereas it was about 1,700.
