I opened the Cave and looked at it, then closed the cave and cut the grass.

Gave it a quick polish, looked at the weather and decided it was a bit too 'iffy' to risk ruining that perfect shine! :bolt:
Itching to get out for a drive again.. Last one was almost 3 weeks ago!

Cheers for that, I do get a lot of comments on the colour.
It is based on the original 65 `twilight turquoise `in a 2 Pack finish painted about 3 and a half years ago  :smile01:

Yep, now that summers over  and things get a bit quiet at work, the '68 coupe will definitely be out and about.

Took mine for a run today with my kids.  They thoroughly enjoyed the weather with the roof down.    I need to do 500kms to run the diff in.  Have an interstate trip in a couple of weeks and want it run in or just about run in by then.

Installed my TEFBA filter for the radiator.  Will be interesting to see how much crap it collects in the first few weeks.  Thanks again Moe

got new suspension fitted. i didn't go too low, just enough so its comfortable and I can steer and also not rip out my full length headers. just a bit of a tuck front and back.

5 leaf reverse eyes in the back, pedders sports ryda springs in the front and new sports ryda shocks in the front. new U bolts.
got a new wheel alignment to the specs that I've seen floating around on this forum.

tonight I'm getting the front left guard rolled a little more as its rubbing a bit, and I've got a guy coming to remove a dent from the bonnet as the wing nut on the air filter punched it a while back.

heres the new stance.

Picked up my new plates at the Motor Registry this morning, was surprised by the extra detail with the lighter stars in the background. Not sure why they don't have the holes pre drilled in them though - they would be in a standard position for all American cars?

Took it out for a trip down the shops, clouds came over and it started raining..
Luckily a few hours later it stopped and the sun came out, dried up the roads and I went out again for a couple hours..

Not sure what's going on exactly but the Borg Warner 3spd (Auto) but it doesn't seem quite right..

Yes, I thought it was strange, but happy they didn't have 6 holes in them like normal plates!

It's a good thing that the holes are not drilled into them. I had to drill separate holes for mine as the normal holes on the plates did not line up.
