Went to check the timing. Timing light broke.

Swapped to another carb, the little pipe for the auto choke from the exhaust manifold broke.

Looked in my in my wallet, I'm broke.

Not having much luck.

Refitted P/S belt and got it going again, just gotta wait to see if any leaks occur. Greased squeaky front end again.

Replaced the heater core,
That's 1 and 1/2 hours of my life I will never get back!
Be easy without a/cond though.
Peter.

Found the root to my ignition issues. My original 66 coil was breaking down and giving a weak spark. Not enough to read on the timing gun. So my gun wasn't broken after all.  :ouch:
Swapped out the coil and it seems to be ok now. Just have to fix the other issues now that came about from tinkering with 47 year old parts trying to fix another issue. Damn knock on effect.

Fitted a curved monte-carlo bar to my 66 coupe, no problems, fitted like a glove.  :pepper:

Tomorrow the 22 US gallon fuel tank goes in, hope it goes as well.

I attached my personalised Plates, they are American size, and so much easier to fit.

Vrt stands for Vert (Convertible)

67 stands for 1967

Picked her up from the mechanic after a month, paid him more than $3600. Took her home, degreased the engine bay, polished the rims, gave her a wash and went for a long cruise!
