Mark from Capital Classics told me about this today...seems that the Dickson guys like to see every car twice.
Couldn't you jump on the internet and prove to them that they were an option?
My '66 has front discs and they didn't question these last month.
Didnt have internet connection there, and once past the entrance, all phones off... They asked for an engineers certificate, but I debated the point with them, and they changed it to proving it was an option.
They picked up a couple of other minor things - stalling, wheel alignment(radius rod adjustment not tight), rear brake adjustment... Those three things were items that were suppposed to have been fixed at a local workshop the day before. Car went straight back and is still there. Also engine number and p/steer hoses (one kinked).
Sad thing is the car handled better with the NASCAR wheel alignment (drove great straight and turning left; struggled with right turns) than the wandering setup post alignment.
