Spent a couple of hours trying to work out my courtesy light issue where the centre console light only comes on when the drivers door is open.

The electrician is booked , the exhaust is finished, the final load of finishing parts are on the way, full steam ahead, next stop DMT and Rego.

1967 Mustang Convertible with fries and the works, hold the rust, no timber thank you, go easy on the Bondo and I'll have that in Right Hand Drive please.

Fitted new rear wheel cylinders.

Helps when both pistons in each cylinder are working.

Now for a new (correct) master cylinder and brakes should be fully functional.

Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice.

Yesterday I picked up my car from ACE Exhaust in North Rockhampton, the place to go for exhaust systems. last night I got the plumbing done for the windscreen wiper washers, laid the plaid trunk mat and fitted the new air filter.

Took my 67 around to TimR67's place so he could check out the routing for the windscreen washer tubing and fitting/sizing of his wiper blades as well. All working A, OK!   :thumb:

Lots of people doing their windshield washer plumbing!
Could one of you please post a photo that shows how exactly you ran the pipes for them?
It would be a massive help for when it comes time for me to do mine! :thumb:

I would appreciate a photo as well. Last night I installed two new jets. They both installed with the bottom of the tubes bending to the left hand side of the car. I positioned the t piece in the centre of the bulkhead and ran to the jets from there. One line plugged straight into the jet and the other had to do a loop and come back to the jet to fit, with the main line from the motor pump connecting to the bottom of the t piece. I ran the line from pump to t piece up the shock tower and along the export brace. I would like to know if, although my setup works fine, is it correct to do so?

T piece on my 67 is on LHS (USA Drivers) near 1st jet and longer thinnest tube runs across from this to rhs jet. Medium tube runs to foot operated switch and thickest tube runs from this foot pedal to reservoir.  This was in a kit as supplied to TimR67 and checked out the same as my std 67 Coupe. It works fine!

Tried to adjust the digital range sensor on my 4r70w transmission to the floor shifter in PRND21 with no luck. Back to the drawing board as I will need to alter  the throw height of the lever I made, so it will link up with the floor shifter correctly. Also need to have a spacer made with a keyway on the DTR shaft, for the lever  to reduce any slop. :smash:
Purchased a pair of DynoMax VT mufflers.

Had a service done on the Mustang and cooling system flushed. Getting ready for the cruising season.

Also fixed my issue with the courtesy lights, now all working properly.

Went up to the panel shop again this morning, everything is now painted and flow coated.
They sat one of the fenders on (they knew I would be coming to have a look at some point during the week  ), I didn't have a camera with me but it looks really good and VERY shiny!

Drove it to the mechanic for service/tune up, transmission issue, steering and a buggered window winder!

Looking forward to it being fixed up so I can finally cruise knowing it will get me where I want it to go.

Fresh new oil and oil filter replaced.
Swapped wheels for awhile with TimR67 and noticed the very different road noise and much firmer ride.  :thumb:
Just gotta test the limits of adhesion with his nice new rubber and see if I can bag em up on a few different surfaces.................................

Fitted my new radiator cap and found that I had drained my battery. Now trying to work out why it does not appear to be charging.

Yes, going in the old girl and the 4 speed auto.
Its a bitsa, falcon engine with a mix of mustang gt and explorer components.
Will be using the ford ecu with some extensive remapping.
Peter.
