Spill the beans Mark!
« on: May 30, 2012, 06:23:23 am »

Heard a whisper that a certain MocaSA member has recently purchased a rather special Mustang. Maybe the BOSS has gagged him?

Come on Mark - Spill the beans!
:smile01::smile01::bolt:

There is also a very nice looking yellow 70 Mach1 just arrived in Adelaide. The owners called into work the other day after their first session with our good friends at Regency. ( They were driving it on a permit.)

Pity i never had the camera at work.

I know the owner cruises this forum. How about some photos and an introduction?:thumb:

Rocket.

Think I might call this one

"Project Blue Book"

I will get some video up for you soon Rocket...very soon...just have to wait a little bit (few days max)

But for now, I can say there is a new boss in the house (well waiting for it anyway)

Yep, okay, the beans are spilt. This is a 70 Grabber Blue Boss 302 with a white interior. It has commenced a high level resto over about 6 years and needs completion. Should be arriving in Florida any day soon. Here are some more pics.

Congratulations, she's going to be a real beauty when finished. Are you having the restoration finished in the US or shipping it as is?
Nice one. :thumb:

I always wondered what the advantage of the staggered shocks was? I see a lot of trades utes do it too...

Come on Mark - Spill the beans!

LOL, that's not fair.

I kept mine hush till it landed, I don't like counting my chickens, unfortunately I'm still waiting for it to hatch and get onto the road.

Mark and I had been discussing a few options while searching.

Congrats and good to see Matt got you a good one too.

Does it have a Shaker mwizz?

It is a very low optioned car which makes it a 1 of 1 apparently but previous owner/s have fitted a factory shaker, rear boot spoiler, magnum 500 wheels and a tacho.

I couldn't possibly wait that long Stephen. It was killing me not putting anything on the forum until now.

Fair enough, you at least can report on the build.  My posts would've been something like:

on truck

on truck

on dock

in warehouse

in warehouse

in warehouse

on ship

on ship

on ship

Congrat Mark - great car, great colour. Love that you also have the body buck tag - they are not that common these days.

Hardest part is going to be not being able to just pop over to the resto every week or two and have a look!
