You are right there. I will have to rely on Matt keeping me updated as the build progresses. I think he is as excited as I am with this one.

Hi Rocket,

thx for the info and those bits last Monday. Sorry for the delay in posting, but been busy and hadn't seen your post!

Yes, we are the proud owners of the Yellow Mach 1 (a few pics attached). Many thx to Matt and Sheri for helping us to find the "Yellow Peril"- they are awesome, genuine people and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Having met and spent some time with them as well, we would not hesitate recommending them if you're thinking about sourcing a car O/S.

Anyway, back to the car - 351 Cleveland factory 4 barrel carb engine, Ram Air Shaker, 4 speed top loader, a/c, full gauges with tach, fold down rear seat, limited slip 3.73 rear, power steering, power disk brakes. front and rear spoiler, magnum 500s and rear window slats.

Been to Regency, just have a couple of minor fixes and will be back by the end of the month (time permitting!!) - so look for us on a road near you soon!!

Joe and Bernice.

Hey Chop,

yeah, the main issue is seat belts - they need to be ADR4 compliant and I got a set from Wilshire's down on Hanson Rd. Other than that one of the rear wheel brake cylinder's is siezed, so I need to pull that down and overhaul (probably do the other side at the same time) as it failed the rear brake test. That's it.

I've already fitted the belts, now just the wheel cylinders to sort out.

Hi Joe, Looks like a very well prepared car - can see why it will go through Regency without too much pain.

The yellow colour is really well suited to the 70 Mach1.:thumb:

Congratulations.

Will catch up with you out cruising one day.

Rocket.
