Hi bergmyster I just helped order a kit for my mates 68 convertible. He was looking around at some disk kits which basically included just a front kit for the same price. I put him on to this ebay site and he bought a set with delivery to Australia for $400. Sounds like alot but there were 4 box's that weighed about 80kg. I have temporarily fitted my kit and it all looks good. My mate will get his mechanic to fit his in the next few weeks. When completed I can post feedback. There is a number up top which will put you in touch with the dealer. Just give him a call. Also you can check out his ebay site on www.ebay.com. Not ebay Australia.

Been Away for work so I didn't do much work on the car. It has been a slow process but I hope now that I am back I can get a move on. Here are some pix of some of the work done in the last 2 weeks[/URL

height=525]http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd442/peric66/IMG_3631_zps8a10209e.jpg[/img][/URLBought a car rotisserie on Ebay which arrived last week. However it didn't fit the car. I had to fabricate brackets to fit the rear section where the bumper brackets usually fit. Check out the pix.

Bought some torque box's for the car as the 65 models didn't come out with them. Putting them in the car would strengthen the front end considerably. However as per usual they didn't fit straightaway.[/URL Required some trimming.

Once trimmed they fitted quite well.

Fitted the right hand side torque box today. I was very happy with the fitment. It welded up ok and should make the front end alot stronger than before.

I will be doing the engine bay soon and I will be doing it the same colour as the car. Therefore I need to pick the colour for the car. My dilemma is that the car interior is red and it doesn't really match with many exterior colours. I think the following colours go well with a red interior. What do you all think? Any suggestions.

White/Red and Black/red both look spectacular. Not a fan at all of red on red. JMHO

Thanks Ron. Thats what I think as well. Red on Red = Too much red. However having said that the car is an original red on red and the door tag states that. Should I just follow the TAG.

Black is a great colour but the body has to be dead straight. Every imperfection shows up on black. I have to see how the body comes up before I rule it out all together.

i like the red on red  :bolt:
Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an 67, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on MOCA, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car...................

Of those 3, I would go with the white exterior. It looks spectacular in that pic.

I've always thought silver with the red interior and GT stripe was fetching.
Cheers

The under carriage has been done and now I have turned my attention to the engine bay.

Done in 2k high fill.
