Hi Michael, Angelo`s car will be painted the original colour which is Black Jade. Think it will be a stunner.

Hi Angelo, Have not been in the car factory all week myself, but i know it is very close to the Primer stage. Probably 2-3 weeks more work to complete the Ute, then it is full steam ahead to paint your car.

Hi Jack, Been very busy with some stuff the last few weeks, so have not yet had a chance to organise the seat belts.

Jeremy mentioned the other day that your quarter panel is taking a long time to get here. Your car is high on the list. Will be good to catch up again.

We are making steady progress on the XC Ute. Luke and Brad are currently working on the Engine Bay and undercarriage. They have also cleaned, sanded and painted the Diff and Driveshaft. Tomorrow the Diff will be refitted, then the ute can be put back on its wheels ready for final rubbing before painting the body. The stripes will take a bit of time also.

Today our paint supplier brought in a sample card showing the Black Jade paint for Angelo`s Grande. Looks correct to me from photos i have seen, but Angelo - if you see this please call into work and confirm that you are happy with the colour.

Had a phone call from Jack ( Brumby1 ) tonight. He recently bought this very original 69 Mach1 -

Today Jack removed the seats and carpet. He was very happy to find the original Build Sheet under a seat. Ripper!
He was quite excited to see the original underfelt on the floors was in very good original condition, then when he lifted the underfelt he found an absolutely pristine, original floor! Eureka! -You have picked a winner with this car Jack. I will go to see Jack next week and take some photos. Can`t wait!

At Image - We do not only work on cars. The missus and i went down the South East last week to do some renovating on our old cottage. It had a silly setup whereby you had to walk through the second bedroom to get to the main bedroom. Took care of that problem.

Went from this -

Mark and Sally, Thanks for your kind words.

Have always been a wannabe carpenter. Will get plenty of opportunity to test the skills on the old place. When all else fails - Youtube comes in very handy to learn about any task.

So Chris officially becomes an old f@rt on the 8th. Hope you have some great celebrations and tell him happy birthday from the Image Crew. Hope to see you both soon.:drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:

Finally getting some paint onto Angelo`s Grande

Still have a way to go. Luke was busy wet rubbing the hang on panels today. Hope to get them painted early next week.
Really taken with the Black Jade colour. Great choice Angelo.

The XC Ute has also been painted white. Fitting the hang on panels next week, then taping it up for the Cobra stripes.

Jack, hope you are not too peeved at us for not getting over to take photos of your Mach1 floor.
Just been too damned busy to shake ourselves.

Both cars looking nice mate..  Jade green my second favourite colour.
Was wondering what happened to you.  Found a lot of burnt wiring behind the dash I had to replace Was lucky that nothing was shorted. Gear box and brakes working now.
See you Monday? Will be there about 10

Hi guys, It has been another extremely busy week at Image.

I had been a bit grumpy this week because it seemed that it was taking forever to get the current resto projects finished.
Well... I had to eat humble pie this arvo when i walked into the car factory. It is now all coming together. The hard work
being done by the guys is now showing great results. This is what i saw -

Brad was finishing off some Brake work on Emberglo -

Great job Brad.

Steve and Luke were fitting the tailgate to the XC Ute project -

Then Steve went back to fitting the front together -

While Luke went back to Polishing Angelo`s Grande body -

We really are taken with this Black Jade colour. In some light it looks almost black, while in other light a real nice Jade colour. Just superb.
Hope you can see the difference in the above photos.
Luke has once again done an excellent job. That paintwork is smooth as glass.

Another car arrived earlier this week for a new rear quarter panel. It had already been changed by another panel shop, but Jack was most unhappy
with the job. Ron and Brad have removed a lot of body hardware so that we can see what is happening. Here are some photos -

We will get it back to you looking like new Jack.

Jeremy has gone to Melbourne for a well earned break to see tonights Collingwood/ hawthorn game.

Go the Mighty Magpies!!!
