I'm about to start the resto on the mach 1 so i thought i would put up some pic's to get some help and advice as i go along.

My main problem area's are around the wheel arch and the chassis rail at the rear where it looks like a tow truck has put hook's in there a ripped the metal.

Looks pretty tidy apart from the wheel arch. If the inner wheelhouse is ok I would just make a section up & weld it in. No point making it bigger than it needs to be. Other than that it looks like a good buff would sort most of it out. Of course pics can be decieving.

Your right Steve the pic's are deceiving it looks nice from 5 ft away but it's a typical USA paint job.
The wheelhouse looks good but i haven't striped off the paint yet so hope it's good
we will be stripping it back naked and starting again it's the part i love nothing like cutting out the crap and welding some nice new steel in there.
