« on: February 18, 2007, 06:23:23 pm »
just purchased a 6TPZ am radio from a swap meet and i have heard there is someone that can convert it to fm but still keep the original look.Has anyone gone this way or am i waisting my time? Have heard that the custom autosound stereos are not worth a pinch,so do not want to go down that path! comments appreciated.

Yes, Nostalga wireless, but it will cost you heaps, they do a job where by you get FM, mp3, cd input 200w, 4 speaker etc. I rang them once, think they are in Sydney or Melbourne.

Yeah I got similar quote to refurb the "Air Chief 11" push button in my wife's HG Premier. I ended up leaving it in the dash and puting a modern one in the glove box.
