Hi

I need to get some new wheels for my disc brake upgrade and came across these:

With standard shipping I can get 2 for $135.00 which I thouht sounded as cheap as getting some old ones from a wreckers.

After a big headache with the disc kit I originally purchased, I am now going down the holden calliper and falcon rotor path using the mustangs of melbourne/catslemaine rod shop style bracket.

Am just wondering if these wheels would suit rather than me getting some old ones off an old falcon?

$135 isn't really cheap considering you can pick up a pair of good Falcon rims for around $25 - $30 from the wreckers.

Unless it came with a near new radial, I'd say that was seriously over priced.
As Evan say's, they are generally about $30 at the wreckers.

A few weeks back I picked up two 14x6" rims for $40 and another two from a different wrecker for $20 or $30 (can't remember). The highest price you should pay per rim is $20. I see no reason why they would cost more in Sydney. You may need to ring around.

I'm guesing they sold you XF brakes (if the calipers are alloy?) so any wheel from XB on will be ok. With Commodore calipers only the bearing boss hole is the issue ie if you have later than XA rotor you will need later wheels.
