the new motor is finally complete and im installing it on thursday if all goes well

Where did you get the pulley/bracket system?

hi guys
the headers are from Castle Headers in vic 1 5/8 pipes 4 into 1 ceramic coated, pulleys are ford racing & March performance brackets and power steering pulley, its a 302 ho brand new block running 185cc alloy heads. comp cam with roller lifters and roller rockers its been a good three months in the making and about six months plaining the combo of the motor

brackets and pulleys are from summit racing in the us

how much did the headers cost you (if you sont mind me asking)?they are very neat, any idea on how loud they will be..any other modifications reqd to fit them?

Headers should have very little impact on the noise level. Its generally the pipe diameter and mufflers after the headers that make the difference.

the headers will fit MUSTANG 64-68 289-302 Windsor V8. 4 in to 1 DESIGN. 1-5/8'' PRIM. 3'' Collector & 3 Bolt Flange left or right hand drive including all gaskets cost was $1K  coated and posted to sydney

the alternater  brackets on ebay are cheap chinese made crap next to the march brackets. i brought one and ended up throwing it out in the end its cheap poor workmanship next the USA stuff

i have been told buy the guy who made the headers that they will fit RHD and LHD and found them very helpful at castle headers

I called Castle just two weeks ago and they said their headers would NOT fit a LHD with power steering ram so I started to look elsewhere. Was trying to keep it $ in Oz.
Did I speak to the wrong guy??

There is a drop down bracket you can get to lower the ram, which helps some headers fit.

hi good news the motor is in just a few small hick ups with the exhaust some fine tuning with engine mounts and the exhaust is now all clear from touching the steering box.
