Hey Chris.
I have the same set up in my coupe (same headers plus the xf steering box).

Like yours, my headers "just" cleared the steering box and the engineer picked up on it for the engineers report.
He wanted to see 15mm min clearance between them so I had to alter the engine mounts to lift it up a little.
Wasnt a big deal but thought it might help you before you get it all buttoned up.
Cheers

i dont need to go to any engineer as my car is already registered. Look into the Ron Morris engine mounts I have found them to allowing you to adjust the engine front to back, left to right

I'd just try and pack the stock ones off the block personally. The Pacemakers are smaller tube and may have extra room perhaps? But I'm keen to run a Paxton so I'd like some bigger pipes. One question is, if the steering box was a bit further back (ie like may car) would this make a differance to these pipes.

if the steering box was further forward towards the front of the car it there would be more clearance
