Whats the go with that ad? professionally restored? i hope that if i got a professional to restoration that my interior would be faultless and the engine has be "apart" at least once! i would like to know where the 12k went? sounds more like a repair job from an accident than a professional restoration...

as far as production numbers, they should be easy to find. just do a few google searches. i would have thought a vert to be a cruising car, so an auto would be a better option. however it was an expensive addition back in the day, 3spd manual was at no charge, as was the 6cyl. a base model example.

No way $12k plus $3800 for paint was spent on that car.

Seats are ripped, engine bay looks like its never been cleaned.

I dont think so.

Cheers,
Frank.

12k doesnt go very far, to do what they say has been done is cheap. Wonder if the chick comes with it.

Anyone else find it scary that they cant spell "proffesionally". If they couldnt be arsed doing a spell and grammar check in their ad then id be curious to see what else they couldnt be arsed doing.

Very good point Foresight.
My bodyman mentor says do it once and do it properly!
Yes ive f d up work on my car and had to redo it but im learning and  ahell of alot better than when i started!

I remember at TAFE the teachers were amazed that chef apprentices couldnt even spell restaurent or restorant or even restaurant.

Assuming it goes no higher in the bidding, it is still not a very good buy. I paid $15,250 for mine (as shown in my avatar) and it is in vastly better condition.

There is also an interesting weld in the engine bay on the LHS just behind the cut-out for the VIN stamp (which does not show the VIN and I expect that you should be able to see some numbers there even if they were not clear)

But 12k is just a paint job in real terms with a couple of repairs.  But the car still looks ordinary non the less.

Sorry guys I reckon this is a scam... or just crap being offered to some poor unsuspecting fool who will part with their hard earned ready..

T-CODE-KID,

Your right about the rag top, it looks like they just chucked it on that morning - check out the wrinkles in the back qtr and the back window. :w:w

I think this must have been done by a redneck but cant find a banjo anywhere in the photos!!

Go easy fellas, that is no white trash there. :*

Notice that is a double wide mobile home in the background, big bucks spent there, almost cost as much as the shed. Got to keep the little woman happy... :(

This fella is just "Flipping" the car

put my bottom dollar its a respray over some lovely crazed paint

Having a tonne of rusty mustangs in the background and the sign out front suggests "HE" is midcounty mustangs

He says "why buy one that needs work....this one is done"

Wonder how he figures that

The fact that the spare wheel is out laying behind the car and there are 2 people there taking photos with 2 seperate cameras tells me that when the photos were compiled onto there "good ol 486 pentium"...they chose only the best pictures of the car and left out the boot shots as they didnt know how to turn the flash off and it shows anything brown or Rusty in a tottaly diferent light

The top being so outa wack suggests to me that the convertible drip rails are rotted and the top may have been done by a monkey. What am I saying...the top looks shi7house

Just gotta love that lady/thing with the blonde and brown mullet feeding her pu55y in the 3rd photo
