this is the reply i got from the carrum downs guy
"I make a 67 bonnet with 67 shelby (twin scoop) it is 30mm high but it is standard length to fit a factory nose configuration (standard car).

I think you have misunderstood I need it to suit a 66.

And if you meant 66. when i rang and spoke to him i told him what i wanted even sent him a photo and he sent me these photos.

j.l.c. I've been considering hood options for a while and haven't done anything. I like the one Hev has posted photos of. I'd been keen to get one of these shipped over as well if you want to share costs. I'd have to get it to Adelaide though. Is that a problem BLKPNY?

the hood i am looking to go with is made by www.karmustang.com From what i have read on reviews in the states they are the better one. although all fibre glass will need a little work these guys are the best. If we order together we should get a discount and frieght from the shop to BLKPNY's agent would be cheaper. Let me know if your interested.

Hood is US$375 and freight to the agent is US$100  plus what it will cost for BLKPNY to get it to us.

Hi JLC,

Just had a look on the KAR site. That hood looks pretty good to me. If you've checked around and they appear to be worth the coin then count me in. You're in Sydney aren't you? As am I but my car is in Adelaide so I guess if BLKPNY can sort that then I'm sweet.

Yeah i am in sydney.

i wanted to get a set of those billet strut bonnet hinges. I'll sort it all out and keep you posted on prices. I'll see if i can bargain for 2 of them.

Get the Stainless ones from JN65, they open further, and are cheaper.

The ones on Ebay are for 67, and are Ring Bros.

JN65 are like Ring Bros, they build cars etc. I can get a good deal on 10 sets, but I tried preselling them a while ago, and got only a little interest. I would need to sell 4-5 sets up front.

Steph do you have a link to the JN65 hinges did a search but couldn't find them.

Also quick up date for those interested. Order the Bonnet last night. cost me US$425 shipped to California. Plus what it will cost me to get it here to OZ!
