Yep J1,

I see the post includes meeting at BP, Calder Highway, Diggers Rest at 8am.

As you're coming from the eastern area, you could head through my area to the start of the ring Road in Greensborough and we'll merge on to the Calder to the BP at Diggers.

I"ll meet up with you on the way, near the roundabout of Fitzsimons Road and Main road Eltham. There is a car park where a florist always sets up, just after the corner of Falkiner Street and Main road Eltham, just before the small bridge that crosses the creek. (Just about across the road from Eltham lower park, where the Eltham mini Railroad is)

I'd say if we meet at 7 - 7.15am, leave 7.15 am sharp, we'll be in diggers rest by 8.00am.

Anyone else keen to join, see you there.:(

CHANGE OF PLAN.

I am at caretakers house working on Ricks Elanor today and probably heading to Hanging Rock straight from there.
So, no meet up in Eltham first to anyone who read the above post

Up nice and early today as Caretakers cat decided to shake the front security door nearlly off its hinges to get in.

Day looks pretty good out there,  well as much as I can tell in the dark.  No wind at the moment and no sign of rain, so it all looks to full full steam ahead!! :a

Listened to the weather forcast at 6.30 am which said morning showers and rain and storms later so I left the coupe covered up, how silly was I to believe the weather bureau. Oh well at least I helped you guys out, if I'd have ventured up there it would have poured.

The weather couldn't have been any better or the positioning we scored for the day.  Cars looked great with some amazing toys venturing out.

Again, sorry about the tour past the turn off.  Lucky Thirsty filled up.  Everyone can stop throwing stones now.

Thanks again gents for a good day out.

I had the great day all.
I really wish I bought a mustang years ago.
We had oursleves set up with a shaded gazebo, chips, platters, bread, bla, bla.
The girls even got together and cracked a few bottles of wine.

Cars were amazing.
I have some great shots of the show, and some great shots on the way there.

Hey Mac1, I think we will have to all chip in and buy you a new GPS. That was a fair distance past the mark.
In all honesty though, my wife commented it was nice to do a decent pre-cruise.

And, yes thirsty lived up to her name, after a the nice drive there, the pre-cruise, a detour to Greenvale in the way home  for a visit, then to Bulla, and then home, I had to fill her up again. A full tank today!!!

Mustang owners were red with embarrassment after doing an illegal u-turn in the middle of the Calder Fwy.

Hmmm, wonder who that could have been!
Looks a bit like a Corstang or maybe a Musvette!
Did you see any Maccas on the trip?::
