Whats my Rim Options?

Hey guys

Ill be needing Rims for my 66' Fastback soon, i love the old school 15' Rims. i have that bit sorted but i don't know about the Width issue... is there a max width for mustangs?

I want PHAT Rims and the 15x8 size is in my eye;2... would they fit on without body mods?

or would i have to go thinner?


any help is appreciated, I'm kinda lost on this area...

Go to the search on the top left hand of this site.
Type in wheel size, or tyre size.

You can do plenty with your car wheels wise. :(

I found out my 68 will fit 275's without rolling the guards. I have 245's now with the correct offset, and there is plenty of room to fit 275's.

Depending on tyre diameter, and rim size, and suspension height, they're your limiting factors.

15x8's will fit a lot better than 17 or 18 x 8's, as the tyre is rounder on the shoulders on the smaller diameter.

A standard or raised car will accept a wider tyre, as the guard will not be near it.

Also, get the rear lip rolled.
