Radiator question
« on: July 26, 2005, 03:26:45 am »
Just wondering what radiators people are using on their later model stangs in Australia??? Iam just trying to plan ahead while Iam over here and do any sensible mods before I ship my car to Australia from here in Canada later this year.... considering most of my driving in Oz will be around town and dealing with traffic, plus my 01 GT will also have mildly boosted Vortech SC so Iam starting to research aftermarket radiators... so far the 03 Cobra and one made by Fluidyne look like best bet!
I was originally thinking intercooling would be a good choice for cooler running temps, but then being in traffic a fair bit that wont help much with little cool airflow over intercooler.... so given my likely driving environment ie 30C + mostly a big rad may even offer better performance advantages than an intercooler could for me as much lower engine temps will likely offer same if not better advantage I reckon!

Hi
Did you ever get round to shipping your Bullitt back to Oz.
If so did the boys at Crossover Conversions to the RHD change over for you?
Hope to ship mine back to Oz after the Bullitt Nathionals in July.
Bullitt Mustang GT, DHG 2439.
