Hi All,

J1 been at my place until about an hour ago.
I'll let him spill the news.

We  swapped wheels back and had an ale.
Talked mustang for a while and took the J1 GT350 coupe, the fastback and the 390 for a spin to a local car park for some pics while Justin had my wheels and I had his. Will post some pics

A good day.

Cars ready for tomorrow, I am a bit buggered!!!

John

On a serious note, I think I will be selling the the fastback soon.
Keeping up with two muzzes is hard yakka. Torn between the two big time.
Have changed my mind about 22 times this week, but the coupe was my first, so its staying.

Fastback is a good honest solid California car with original rails and floors. Many members have seen it in the flesh, and a few have seen it without any rear interior where inside frame was clear for all to see.

Its a tough decision as I had big plans. One was to make the 289 into a 450hp powerplant without stroking it, and install remote controlled airbag suspension. But we wil soon extend the house. One muzzie will have to do.

Hey Mo,
New thirsty Diff was a Bl**dy good move.

New seals, new wheel bearings, tightened very loose uni's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, etc, etc.
My mechanic is the type who will not just install the diff. He goes over the whole drive system and advises what needs or should be done. Much better now. Better grip on take off, which beforehand in a single wheel 9" diff drive in damp weather in a 390 was hard going. I suppose its an upgrade in some way, but to me it now where it should have been.

Back to my previous post, has anyone checked how tight their Uni's are lately?
It takes 5 minutes to check.

My coupes were loose big time, and on the freeway it drove without vibration.

Everyone check their Uni clamps soon!!

The last thing we need is a tail shaft falling off
