I just happened to have brought in my 65 to work tonight, and my colleague just happened to bring his soldering iron in... It also happens to be VERY quiet workwise tonight... :p

So in goes the USA66 stereo, power aerial and 2 colour LED indicator reverse lights...

Cheers Nassi,
I've got the wiring diagrams, but they don't tell me where they are on the car :)

36 degrees outside.
I got home about lunch time - looked at the wheels I stripped a few days earlier, looked at all the interior I ripped at at the same time for repainting, then looked at the ice cold beers in the fridge, then went back outside and started sweating just looking at the parts needing rubbing back, then looked at the beer in the fridge again.

OK - The beer won   ;+

Today, took the car to CVE Performance to use their brake bleeding tools. Jacked it up, and noticed the diff wasn't sitting flat on the leafs. The centre stud is taller than the spring perch, so was hitting the axle tube, and not letting it sit flat.
So I lifted the diff up, and ground down the studs, then bled the brakes, then decided the rims needed a polish.
After that, took it for a skid. Noticed the neutral start wasn't working in reverse, so fixed that too. On my way home, noticed a reverse light is not working, so will have to find the wiring fault for that tomorrow.

Summernats is getting closer!!

Replaced my boot mat with a new heavy duty one and tried to take out my centre console to redo the trim but was not able to get it out (yet).

Didn't work on mine, but unloaded one for Foresight at my place. Sean (BossKraft) & I picked it up today. Now safely tucked away in the shed.

Fitted new (old) alternator today, and it even seems to be charging, and the car turns off etc.... Thanks guys for the links in my other thread.

New decals all made up, just got to try and fit them tomorrow, and some new rear brake lines from the diff to the calipers.

As discussed in Noisy Alternator thread, got the new bolt for the front bearing retainer, gave it a little clean up and reassembled. Re-installed it in the PNY, good as gold. :(

Those electric windows sound good Darryl. What did you use?

Still got to get a rotary aircon compressor to replace the York and get the aircon sorted as well.

Cheers, & Happy New Year to all

We worked on it 'HEAPS' over the last week, we meaning 'BossKraft', Ozbilt, Mrs BossKraft and I.

The result is the Avatar picture, after 3 'long' years muzz67 finally made a trip up and down the drive as a Car, (minus some trim but hey it's only Tuesday, aim for the All American Day.

Hi Rick,

Yep, that counts.

Sanded back interior peices last night with scothbrite pads.
They are good sh*t!!
It amazing how good the chrome steel edging on some of the interior bits comes up when ya give it some attention.

More sanding tonight
