Body work
« on: November 17, 2009, 04:15:42 pm »
Well the finances are sorted so its time to get the bodywork done, the car needs front floors, lower plenum, lower front corners of doors, usual lower front guard repairs, couple of minor dings ,
Im asking for opinions on which body shop people have used or may recommend,
Just want to start the process rolling,
             look forward to your replies,

cheers Ralph:(        ( car is on the sunshine coast )

If you're going to use anyone, make sure they specialise in this kind of work, or have done this sort of work before.
The first guy I took my 67fb to, had done some great work with jap cars, after a week, he calls me and made me leave work early to rush down to his shop. Tells me what i have there is not a 67 but a "61 or something" WTF?!?!.....his advise was to put it back together and sell it, so I said, yep lets do that, my towie will be there first thing in the morning.....went straight from there to Prestige St.Marys.....never looked back!

I know you're on the GC, but how much does this car mean to you?and how important is it that it gets done properly?
