The FPV & XR Owners Club of ACT are holding their inaugural ‘Capital All Ford Day’ on the 14th of March 2010 and would like to invite all Ford enthusiasts to participate in what is guaranteed to be a great display of Ford motoring. The ‘Capital All Ford Day’ is being held on the East Lawns of Old Parliament House in Canberra. There are plenty of trophies on offer, along with trade stalls, refreshments and entertainment for the kids. We encourage you to get your entry forms in early as space will be limited. More details and entry forms can be found at www.fpvxrclubact.com or at events@fpvxrclubact.com. Alternatively, post a question in this thread and we’ll provide a response.

Hi Guys
Are we meeting somewhere beforehand to arrive together for this show?
Is someone bringing/organising the flag/banner?  I recall Reg saying he (?)/ we had one.  Happy to do this if somone gives me a call.

Cheers

Ummm ... I think the banners and flags are in Sydney.

Perhaps some travelling down (if any) might be able to bring them??

Hi all,
I've been lurking around these forums for the last few weeks reading up all I can about muzzies in the hope that one day I'll pick up a 64.5-66 coupe of my own.  But have to get this wedding thing done and dusted first. :)

Anyhow, I just wanted to say I'll be dropping by on Sunday at some stage to have a good look at all your babies (and maybe say g'day), and take some happy-snappy too, to aide in my dreaming.

Welcome to the forum MickOs, how did you go?  See anything you like??  I think there is a show on next weekend as well which should have a better turnout.

Anyone else go?  I saw spider and a few others when I dropped in after work.  Saw a nice red shelby collect an award:(

I dropped in around lunch time.
Filled myself up with nostalgia remembering the good old days (okay, only about 3 tears ago) with my XE Falcon (mine never looked anything like those ones though) and my brothers XP Falcon (of which I notices a distinct lack of at this show, 1 or two utes was all I could find).

And naturally had a good perv at the mustangs.

Got some snaps, and have put them up in my photobucket album.

(wasn't entirely impressed with how a lot of these photos turned out, and I SWEAR I took more than I ended up with, can't imagine why i didn't get a shot of the front of the Mach 1.)

What did others think about the '68 GT S code convertible?  Apparently a pretty rare car in that configuration.  Not ine BTW (although it would make a nice companion...)

Pardon my ignorance... but is this the 68 GT S Code 'vert?

And Ian, I'll send you the pics when I get home from work this arvo.  As stated, they're not the best pics, and that one was unfortunately a little off-center, but could be cleaned up a bit.  I might even have a quick play in photoshop and see what I can come up with.

Note: And I just realised that I forgot to hide peoples number plates.  Luckily photobucket lets me edit online.

Received the pic, thanks.

Yes that is the S code.  The owner, a nice bloke, did some amazing work to fit home made headers to that engine.  You couldn't get a fag paper between No1 pot pipe and the strut tower.  But there was no signs of rubbing.  His work on the dash was pretty impressive also.

It belongs to the guy who owned 'Macs' and converted Mustangs for a number of years here in Canberra.  Now lives down the coast. I can't think of his name.
