you'll probly find that most forum members here will say keep it lhd cos its cheaper, keeps it original and its cool . With more and more early verts as dailys or weekend cruisers appearing on the roads it'll be good to keep as is for that xtra wow value:(;x

hi,

Funny, i live in South Africa, but joined this forum as we dont have one over here..

problem is... my 65 is on the water from the USA, but now the government has just passed law that no more LHD vehicles may be registered...

i either have to slip someone some cash.. or do the conversion.. .  1st option is a bit tough..

Hi sawards,
You interested in a mirror conversion?
installing a rack and pinion steering as part of the conversion??

Agree!  There will come a day when the US will be importing these back, and at a premium dollar

given the quality of some of their handiwork making it to our shores, do you think that they would be able to convert it back???

There was a 68 coupe in a mustang magazine that had been converted to RHD, and made it back to the us.  It stayed RHD and made it into print in a magazine as a feature ;w

Will update soon , sought of gone backwards . Totally stripped and on a rotisery to do the rh conversion , i think i might be using a XL or XW firewall , but have been occupied fixing more bodgie repairs and slowly sandblasting using my little portable unit. But its going good.
I will need that engineer. ;}
