I am looking at possibly moving to Australia in the next 2 years and I have a 1996 Mustang GT. I am currently in Japan and the car is Japanese specs (speedometer/odometer in KM's) but it is still a left-hand drive. My question: for the car to be road ready (everyday car), does Australian law require the car to be converted to right-hand drive or can I drive it as is? Also, if it is required to convert, approximately how much does it cost to convert? I appreciate any help!
