Last December was our 10th anniversary, the cook got an eternity ring & I got my Fastback (didnt arrive until april). Everyones a winner::

Matt your beast is looking a bit sexier than it did 6 weeks ago. Dont think you will be bringing it after that show.

Its getting there steve.

Its no trailer queen but its definately going to be a very nice driver

Im not a fan of there welding skills but the body work is laser straight.

If I had the time, I would of built it a little differently

Apart from that, Its gonna look extremely sharp.

Everything going back in the car is BRAND NEW. Rebuilt all the heater box and ducting yesterday, fitted all new rubbers to the vent windows (pain in the asre) new tail lights and housings, all new window rubbers and new front screen, tri bar head lights (there a joke) all new dash chrome and guages, ins panels and glove box, inner glove box (pain). Fitted the tank and added a bit of a difference by decking the boot area with Black carpet. Sounds weird but has been installed so the tank sits over the carpet....I like it and it looks pretty trick

when I go to sell it, its going to be easier to say whats NOT new with car than what is new.

Only things I have retained so far are the vent window frames, door glass, and rear screen. Keeping the original rear interior panels and vents and redoing the blue pony interior with blue and white instead.

Time will tell but I think its coming along nicely.....just need to find my drivers window glass....put it somewhere safe...odviously very safe...I cant find it :[

Thought I would quickly throw up what I got done last week (well took pics of as it starting raining)

The rear panels where painted about 600 times and very flakey. Scuffed em back and they look like shjt after I painted them. had a spare set so I thought I would have a crack at something new.

Used aviation stripper on the old paint and took the practically down to plastic using a wire brush very lightly. Havent got a pic painted but they came up very newish.

I pulled apart the heater box and recond'd that. Give a clean, paint and re-seal and some new ducting and spouts to the dash. Brand new plastic thingy (not the cardboard job) and cleaned up all the cables and run some CRC down the lines to make them easy to operate

I fitted the drivers door glass and fitted all new rubbers in the vents and new rollers and door mechanism's...that about where I stopped. It kept rining for a few days so I did what I could of the new PONY interior inside

Went to the markets on sunday and made up a stupid sticker just for shiz and giggles

Before I left for Vegas I thought Id throw the new rear leafs and hangers and the 9" in

While I was getting my flywheel machined I had to get some U bolts made up as the old 8" ones were just itty bitty ones. Had them made an extra few inches longer so I have room too dump it at the back...(Whenever that time comes)

I think I might keep the rear drums on instead of going disc as there considerably bigger than what was on there and they look in good shape...quick rebuild should help aswell

In the end I hope shes gonna be a nice tuff driver and if I can get it done before the "Turkey RodRun" up in Daytona...that would just be fantastic. Need to sell it straight away..(bit of a shame) but Sheri got her approvals to go ahead to build the new workshop and second story apartment for our international guests to stay in (that means you clowns aswell)...Im a bit eager to get back inside a workshop also

Next project....get the interior finished

Then get that engine started...YEAH BABY!!!  :p:p

Should have that done by september maybe ...lol

That PONY interior is drop dead SE xY

I had planned on spending a few hours on it this morning and then at 830am ended up driving to Georgia to buy a car....buggr

Had a fella offer to swap it (car for car) for a 66 AC cobra...turns out the AC was titled as a 2002 so I didnt do it but the AC was Danm nice...shame it was a 2002 title

As soon as the interior is in and I can hear that engine run....Im gonna dump it for $22

I just dont have the time to work on my own cars no more which is a damn shame.

Think I will finish my S code converts maybe....one day...oh...nah...the 65 mussy ute...thats the next project whenever I can get it here...thats gonna be a cool little unit...may even go RHD and belt around over here in the states with an ozzie flag in the back window....lol
