Will the club run a cruise to the Cora Lynn Car Show on Oct 4 ?
I am keen to go to this huge show and would like to cruise with some like minded enthusiasts again!:(

Hi Johnno.

I'm guessing the FB will have the motor out by then & mid way through dressing her up.
May see if Thirsty want to do that run as I missed last year.

Not even sure if she will be back in time for the Roundup.

Cheers, Geoff :(

I went last year.

Was good - lots of cars.

Will try and get up there again this year. Might conflict with SWMBO's birthday tho ;)

Cheers,
Frank.

With MOCA Vic running a bit of a cruise to Euroa, I am going to the Show at Cora Lynn on Oct 4th..
Euroa is fantastic but a long way to go.

For those not wishing to travel to Euroa, I am planning to cruise to Cora Lynn and will post a meeting point and time if anyone is interested in Convoying down there together.
This is also a very large and extremely well run show and could attract as many as 500 + vehicles. Its only a 30-40 minute drive from Narre Warren.:(

For those interested in Cora Lynn and are not going to Euroa send me a U2U.
Might set up a meet point to cruise together. At this early stage the weather looks good and 5-600 cars set to be there on display. Fantastic show.

Johnno.

I might try and get down there for a look - had a hard time finding it last year.
But my car will be off the road while I figure out my electrical gremlins, so if I go, I'll just cruise down in the Beemer. If so, I'll make sure to find you guys and say gday.

Cheers,
Frank.

Come and say hello Tim. The reserve is on the corner of Main Drain and Nine Mile roads in Cora Lynn. Its only about 5 or 6 kms South off the Princes Freeway. The Freeway turn off is into Tynong Road.

Got more info on the Cora Lynn show. "Last of the Chrome Bumpers."

Over 800+ vehicles on show, are expected.
Those drivers with display vehicles are admitted free.
Plenty of food stands and kids entertainment.
Swap meet also on the day.
It is only 41 kms from Fountain Gate Mc Donalds on Princes H'way. (29 Mins)
Kids u/12 free. $5  admission.
Heaps of trophies.

If I make the drive Sunday, you guys will have to excuse my refuelling stops.

Daylight Savings starts this weekend - more daylight hours to get stuff sorted when we get home - yeh :p

Yep it's this weekend.

Only problem is that it will be dark again when I get up at 6:30am ! ugh !

I will try and get down there. Last time I got lost - it's pretty far for me. I think the reserve was not even on my Melways !! Have a newer one now.

Cheers,
Frank.
