Bit of a barn find

While doing an inspection on Saturday for a client, I found under a car cover this 68 GT500KR. The guy found it in a storage facility in littleton CO. as you see it. Never restored, never touched with an original 38,000 miles.

It was used a company vehicle for Shelby for 6 months prior it being sold. Could possibly be Carrols company car back in the day

He said for the right money, he would let it go  :evilone:

He'd probably accept it Mark but there's no way its coming to Florida

I couldnt let you sell it untill you've driven the car anyway. Alot of time has gone into this car. You would have to make a quick flight over here before I would allow it

On another note....we have ignition.  :thumb:

$15,900 landed at any Port in Oz

Looking for a ROCK SOLID convertible project car has all the options like electric convertible top, DELUXE interior and NO RUST...well check this out. Car has been sitting in storage and owned by the same family since new. It was passed down from grandfather, to son and then to his son.

Its a 67 T code with the factory 200, auto. Although its being advertised as a project, Ive been driving around in the car for the last few days, so you could say its a pure barn find driver. (wasn't quite a barn where we found it though)

New carby, tank and lines, steering has been worked on 2 years ago, brakes and service done last week. Apart from minor surface patina and a repair to the battery tray, the car is extremely solid. Paint is driver quality as is the interior. Engine is tight with the addition of a new carb, trans shifts perfect.

If your thinking of building a Shelby clone or Eleanor and dont want the dramas of Major body or frame repairs or pay for some special build code, this is the car.

Also have a rebuilt 289 with C4, drive shaft and diff that could possibly be installed prior shipping for an additional $2000.

Contact Matt on 0011-1-727 364 8707 or email me with your questions

Just thought Id throw this one out there for all the Ford guys. A mate of mine just finished off this XW GT 2 door over here
Rebuilt 351, proC4...blah blah blah... but he hasn't had a chance to hunt down an Ozzie dash to go the whole hog....the pic below is the car during its build and the one below that is that car at a recent car show finished off.

Looks like a real head turner and For $32,000 doesn't seem like a big ask

INBOX ME for more details and pics or give me a call 0011-1-727 364 8707

Matt

Looks like a Falcon Sports Coupe. Very similar to Aussie XR-XT Falcons apart from some subtle differences.

Evan.

Im pretty sure he said his was a 68-69 sport coupe.

Were currently in the process of building a XR GT 2 door over here for this years SEMA but have gone RHD. The conversion is done and now its in for paint. All though the rendering below shows the correct XR GT gold, we have decided to put a spin on the colour combination

If you have facebook, you can jump on and like the page to follow the build in the link below

I would love to share more with this thread but loading each car onto photobucket each time and trying to get all the prices and details correct is extremely time consuming
