I will be attending my first meeting wednesday night, and will be signing up as a member. I have been intending on signing up for a while, but I don't have a cheque book, to make payment.
Just want to make sure I can bring money and pay on the night?

Is there a secret handshake I need to know ???

or should I make sure my health insurance is up to date due to the harsh physical initiation rights that I will need to go through ???

Geoff and I plan on doing the same.
I came straight form work last time and had dinner when I got home, late. Much better idea to head there early and have a meal b4hand.

Nah, Go to Pub, cnr of James and Chapel Streets. James St is opposite Union St on other side of Chapel. Its a 50 mtr stroll to the bowls club for the meeting. Drinks only at bowls club.

I'm getting across to the pub for a feed before hand as well, normally the steaks are on special on Wednesdays.

Wont make it for a feed but hopefully I will be down for my first meeting!
Will need to pony up (pun intended) for my membership on the night.
The Bendigo boys organise a bus so I will try and tag along with them.
Look forward to catching up.
