Hi all you fellow mustang nuts.Im a new guy who has been chasing a pony for about 4 years.I think Im nearly there.My preferred ride is a 67 GT but usually rare and $$$ for a reliable one.I also like the Cal special partly because of the shelby add ons but I figure that this model would be good investment wise.Im interested in the Calafornia special on ebay in Brisbane and also the 67 GT clone at Griffs in Melbourne.Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.Also neither are registed,Im in NSW so what would need to be done to make compliance for rego and likely costs for doing so.Thanks for you help!

Any info you want on the C/S I can help provide. I have restored a few & am connected to people in the registry.

mate defiently the cal special.

NSW rego is easy! just the usual things such as ball joint, tyres, oil leaks . . . also you will need a set of H4 headlights because the US ones dip to the wrong side. Check your seat belts and make sure your lights work and you will be fine!
